Christmas Tour Of Home

Welcome to our Home!
This is our first Christmas in this house so I am still trying to decide where to put things
and we are still in the process of decorating.

Our dining room when you walk through the door. This is definitely the best
place to have our Christmas. Not in plain sight of little eyes and hands!

A view from the kitchen.

Our mantel which is not too special. What can I say? We like TV.

I have a few fun little things our around the house for the girls to enjoy.

And of course, both girls have a pink tree in their room!

Insta-November

My November photo recap through Instagram!

I set off to do the 30 days of gratitude and I began November being thankful for caffeine and sugar. Always thankful for that.

On November 4 I turned 30 and these two are my biggest birthday blessings!

I have stayed busy sewing and Bible study!
(Lysa Terkeurst's Unglued, which was amazing!)

The girls and  I spent quite a few Saturdays at Chick-Fil-A while Daddy
finished up football season.

Both my girls got their first haircuts. They both did great!

More appliqueing....

Scored some great Black Friday deals!

Began our Elf on the Shelf festivities.

Began a new Bible study-Greater by Steven Furtick.

More of the same....

 Saturday sillies!

Halloween 2012

This was a year of firsts for our family on Halloween.
It was the first one in our new house in a new neighborhood
and the first time to take the girls trick or treating.

My little bumblebee!

We had some practice time before we actually went. I had Hadley go up our driveway
and ring the doorbell. Gran and Papa were waiting to give her her first piece of candy.

She couldn't wait to eat it!

Before we went trick or treating, we had a potluck dinner at our neighbor's house.
Hollins saw a scarecrow sitting on their stairs and was determined to get that "baby."

We all had a great time but were exhausted by the end of the night!

Fun Fall Family Weekend

How's that for some alliteration?!
We had a great weekend!
Hadley and Eric went to the football game on Saturday, which
she was super excited about!
Since she did such a great job, we are going to attempt an entire family trip.
I don't know why this makes me so nervous, but it does!
After church on Sunday, we enjoyed the beautiful, cool weather and spent most of the
day outside.
We raked leaves and let the girls jump in the piles.
I LOVE Hadley's face in this picture!

Hollins was a little wary, which surprised me! Usually, she is the one who is
into everything, while Hadley is more cautious!

Sunday night we went to our church's annual Trunks and Treats! Normally, our SS class
has a spot, but I am so thankful we all decided to forego that so we could just enjoy being with
our kids.

My sweet little bumblebee and ladybug!

Getting the loot!

They didn't get much candy, which saddened made me happy! They were much more
interested in the bouncy houses and sno-kones. I wish I had the desire to
jump instead of eat candy!

I just love this time of year because of all of the sweet memories we make
as a family! This year Hadley understands so much of everything, which
makes holidays all the more exciting!
Happy Fall, Y'all!

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Our little family had such a great weekend!
On Saturday, we visited a local Fall Festival. The girls had a great time
and were so kind to one another!
No meltdowns!!
Here's my two pumpkins before we left and this was the best I could do.
I can never get them to both look at the camera at the same time!

Checking out the petting zoo!

They had so many fun and age appropriate activities for the girls!
Tricycles, corn hole, a DJ, wagon rides, a huge bubble machine, a pumpkin patch, the corn maze,
a cow train (which was a favorite), duck races, and horseback riding!

Hollins tried to pick up all of the pumpkins!
