Project 366 Week 2

January 8: Rolling over!

January 9: It's Monday! I like to get all of the laundry finished during the weekend. As you can see, that didn't happen. I feel like I am drowning in laundry. ALL THE TIME!

January 10: Hollins' first clip in bow. Beautiful girl!

January 11: My little monkeys!

January 12: Sweet girls waiting on dinner!

January 13: Gymnastics

January 14: Another one bites the dust!
House hunting can be so fun or so frustrating!
Right now it's frustrating!

But, yay for the weekend!

Project Like- Week 1

As part of my 2012 goals, I want to take more pictures and do Project 365. I am creating a digital scrapbook through Shutterfly and so far it seems pretty simple. They have already created the Project 365 digital templates and gives you space to write thoughts and you can add pages for special events. At the end of the year, I would love to be able to print the book out. I am not a scrapbooker, so this is a way I can keep my memories in more than photo albums.

January 1: We always eat greens and pinto beans lunch at Eric's parents house for New Year's.

January 2: While perusing Target's after Christmas sales, I found a Baby and Me booster seat for Hadley. She eats standing up and occasionally falls off of her chair! I thought maybe if she could sit with her babies, she would use it! We tried it out with Hollins while Hadley was napping.

January 3: The chair works!! Hollins gets her first taste of bananas and LOVED it. She is definitely going to by my eater. Check out those checks!

January 4: Playing together in the crib!
January 5: This girl and her daddy. Those two are inseparable. Makes me heart happy to see how much they love each other.

January 6: Sweet sisters!

January 7: At the bouncy house!

2012 Goals

I love the first of the year. Some people hate to make goals and resolutions but I love it! I feel like I am more motivated and inspired to do things.
I always have so many things I want to accomplish.
  • Participate in at least three bible studies.
  • Blog at least three times a week.
  • Take one picture a day to keep my digital Project Life book up to date.
  • Have at least one date night a month with Eric.
  • Do more sewing and monogramming.
  • Exercise at least 4 times a week.
  • Really commit to doing Weight Watchers instead of becoming frustrated and QUITTING
Eric and I also have a joint goal to buy a new house! Well, at least that's what I told him our joint goal was. We have way outgrown our little home!
And I daily try to be intentional and a better wife, mom, and Christian. It is always a struggle to be a working mom and find balance but my 2012 word is COMMITTED. I am committed to all of these things and I hope I stay that way until 2013. We shall see!

Year In Review and Resolutions

2011 was a wonderful year for our family! God blessed our family tremendously and we grew from a family of three to a family of four. Looking back on these pictures makes me realize how fast babies grow and in 2012 I want to be more intentional with my girls and Eric and cherish everyday and not become so stressed with the small stuff.

We enjoyed the Children's Museum in the cold, winter months.

Hadley enjoyed her first apple juice slushie from Sonic and loved it!

Enjoying Main Street Live!

Celebrated Easter by going to church, seeing what the Easter bunny brought, finding Easter eggs, and spending time with family.

Took our first visit to the zoo.

Hadley moved to a big girl bed to prepare for her little sister.

Hadley took swimming lessons with a very pregnant mama.

We went to the beach for two weeks where it took Hadley several days to even touch the sand. Once she did, she loved the beach!

A tree fell on our house while I was home alone with Hadley while Eric was watching the College World Series. It's amazing I didn't go into early labor as I was seriously having a panic attack.

We celebrated the 4th of July.

Went to Chuck E Cheese. This was not the funnest place-it was too overcrowded and busy for our family.

Welcomed Hollins Gray to our family on July 27.
Started back to MMO!!
Began gymnastics and she has done so well. She was recently moved up to the independent 3-4 year old class. Yay for me just getting to watch now!

Developed a sweet, sisterly bond!

Hadley turned 2!

Celebrated Hollins baby dedication.

Went to Scarowinds and enjoyed lots of other Halloween and Fall activities!

Spent Thanksgiving with my family and enjoyed every minute of it! Including Black Friday shopping!

Met Santa and made Christmas cookies!

We closed 2011 out by enjoying Santa, lots of family time, playing with LOTS of new toys, and trying to clean and organize our house! We wish everyone a Happy New Year!
